This quote by Hans Christian Anderson says it all.
The inspiration behind my artwork comes from the places I’ve been, the things I’ve seen, and the cultures and people I’ve met along the way. I want to pay respect to how travel and exploration impacts lives. The images represented in my artwork portrays and reveals things that embody these destinations big and small, near and far. My artwork is not only for those who have been there, done that, but also for those who are inspired by the subject matter. I want my artwork to draw you in, to force you to take a second look. Travel connects us all and by using geometrical shapes, patterns, and design, I'm able to recreate graphically how travel links us together. My primary art medium uses a printmaking process where I apply ink to polymer etching plates and then pull a one-of-kind fine art print.
To support my mission, I’ve formed an organization called “LINK”, which stands for “Local Ink” where proceeds from the sales of my artwork goes back to local charities and organizations here and around the world. My art journey is just beginning – during the day, I’m an online marketer, but at night I’m a printmaker.
